Between 26-30 November 2004, Top 50- Limited Edition took place in Maroc and on this occasion TUI, the biggest European Tour-operator, awarded its partners according to the volume of sales in the financial year of nov.2003-oct.2004. Along with agencies from Austria and Germany, Romania was also represented in this meeting, by Eximtur agency. As a matter of fact, beside three other agencies from Czech and Slovenia, Eximtur was the only Central and Eastern European agency to participate at this meeting.

Eximtur’s being included among the first 50 partners of TUI, concerning several criteria like sales volume, hotel brand share etc., comes as a result of the fruitful cooperation existing between the two companies, a cooperation which began at the middle of 2002. In less than one year, due to the professionalism of Eximtur’s travel agents, but also to its advanced IT structure (VPN, on-line reservations), the high quality products of TUI entered the Romanian market and Eximtur closed the financial year of 2002-2003 as one of the first TUI partners on the Romanian market. The following financial year meant a new acknowledgement of the quality of services provided by the two companies and a rising of Eximtur’s sales volume with 52.6% compared to the precedent year. Along with TUI’s tourist packages, Eximtur also provides its customers with the products of other tour-operators belonging to the World of TUI: Gulet (Austria and Hungary), 1-2-Fly, Magic Life, Discount Travel, Fun& Sun, Especially4You- specialized in holiday-clubs, last minute offers or trips for families.

“The significant increases in the previous year’s sales structure were represented by exotic destinations and by Austria, but the most significant increase was registered for top products, known as Stars- touristic packages that include special treatment for the travelers, such as customized services in first-rate hotels”, stated Lucia Morariu, General manager of Eximtur SA. “Our company holds certification for its own quality management system, according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard, and on-line access for data bases of hotels all around the world enables the finding of best solutions in shortest possible time for our customers” , the General Manager added.
